There was a breakthrough Wednesday in the search for a missing Hill County man who hasn’t been seen in nearly a month.
Investigators confirmed that shoes found in an RV near a primary search area do belong to 76-year-old Richard Parker.
The RV was parked near Lake Brownwood more than 100 miles from Parker’s home in Aquilla. A woman left the RV door unlocked while she was gone and found the shoes and some opened cans of soda when she returned.
Parker’s truck was also found near the lake.
He was last seen in Aquilla on April 24th. Parker suffers from Diabetes and Dementia.
